In 2006/7
NAAN developed a training pack and DVD to assist in the training of
paid and volunteer Appropriate Adults.
A copy of
the The pack and DVD is sent to all new
members. The pack is also available from download in the
member-only section of the website.
The
training pack and DVD are available for sale to non-members.

A working
group will be reviewing and updating the pack during
2008.
NAAN is currently working to get the Pack accredited with
the Open College Network, London Region (OCNLR).
NAAN can now offer Appropriate Adult training to members and non
members, through a bank of NAAN registered trainers. Contact
us for further details.
2006
NAAN was
involved in a Skills for Justice Working Group reviewing and
revising National Occupational Standards for Appropriate Adults.
There was a consultation on the new draft National Occupational
Standards and the final version was produced early in 2006. Full
details are available here.
